She firmly believes that businesses benefit greatly from diverse lived experiences, and that creating a supportive and nurturing work environment is key to unlocking people’s full potential. Hailey is also a proud parent and partner who enjoys experimenting with new recipes in her free time. As the CEO and Co-founder of Vizelabs, Joel’s focus is on building up everyone around him, enabling them to thrive and advance. He is deeply committed to his family and has a passion for all types of food and enjoys savoring a good scotch. In addition, Joel is a big sports fan, and you can often find him cheering for his favorite teams during his free time.

Beyond technology, Cory has a keen interest in the science behind flavor in cooking and is an excellent cook himself. Retired paramedic from rural East Central Alberta, B Adair (he/they) is an accomplished equity, diversity, & inclusion (EDI) speaker, educator, and facilitator. Through his company, Just B Diversity & Inclusion Consulting (www.justbconsulting.ca), B takes pride in providing supportive and non-judgmental spaces for folks of all backgrounds to learn and ask questions comfortably. B shares his life experiences, sense of humour, and passion for advocacy while facilitating conversations that increase knowledge and improve EDI practices with educators, business owners, healthcare organizations, sports organizations, students, and community groups across the country.
B also works with Gateway Association, a non-profit organization based out of Alberta, on a project called GEDI (Gateway to Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion) Hub. Doug Griffiths is a wildly popular community strategist and author of two best-selling editions of “13 Ways to Kill Your Community”. He has supported, guided, and inspired hundreds of communities to create effective change. Whether through speaking and presentations or through advising and consulting, he is dedicated to helping communities across North America find their own pathway to success.
He grew up on a ranch outside a small town where he learned the value of hard work, critical thinking skills, and the value of community. That background led him into politics, but he insists he has since been through rehab and is fully recovered. His experience in politics gave him a deep understanding of how to move people and get things done. He deliberately retired from politics in January 2015, after serving for 13 years, to return to his passion for community building.
Griffiths has an Executive MBA and Honors B. A Philosophy Degree, as well as his Bachelor of Education, all from the University of Alberta where he has taught community and municipal leadership courses for elected officials and administration.

Jeff Dyck is a Senior Director of Engineering at Siemens EDA, responsible for R&D for four software product lines in the Custom IC Verification (CICV) division. Prior to joining Siemens, Jeff was VP of Engineering at Solido Design Automation, where he led Solido’s R&D teams, managed Solido’s product lines, and co-invented Solido’s machine learning technologies. Solido was acquired by Siemens in 2017. Jeff is now working on evolving the active learning technology in Solido’s products, as well as developing new disruptively differentiated tools within the Siemens EDA CICV product line. Jeff also helps to grow tech start-up and scale-up companies as an active mentor.

Jocelyn is an EDI researcher and mechanical engineer with nearly 20 years of experience leading change. Through her business, Prairie Catalyst, Jocelyn creates awareness and removes roadblocks so that individuals and organizations can realize the benefits of inclusion and achieve their full potential. She helps her clients lead change with a consultative and collaborative approach that engages key stakeholders.
Jocelyn is a 2021 Vanier scholar and is working on her PhD project, “Activating Allies”. After thirteen years working at Canadian mining and mineral processing sites in technical and leadership roles, Jocelyn is now focused on leading and inspiring positive change through EDI research, facilitation, public speaking, and consulting.
Jocelyn is Vice-Chair of the Board for Women in Mining and Women in Nuclear Saskatchewan and sits on the advisory board for ECO Canada’s Reclaiming Leadership project.”
